Synopsis (Goodreads):
What's an Alpha Male to do when he meets the Alpha Female of his dreams? Step one, hide all sharp objects.

All Zach Sheridan ever wanted was to become Alpha Male of his Pack and be left alone. What he definitely didn't need in his life was some needy female demanding his attention. What he never saw coming was the vicious, scarred female who not only demanded his attention but knew exactly how to get it.

Sara Morrighan knew this was the best she could expect from her life. Good friends. A nice place to live. And a safe job. But when Zach rode into her small Texas town with his motorcycle club, Sara knew she wanted more. She knew she wanted him. But after one sexy encounter with her dream biker, everything is starting to change. Her body. Her strength. That new thing she's doing with the snarling. Even her best friends are starting to wonder what's going on with her. But this is only the beginning. Sara's about to find out her life was meant for so much more. And Zach's about to find true love with the one woman who makes him absolutely insane.

Warning, this title contains the following: explicit sex, graphic language, and strong violence.
My Thoughts:  Who likes spunky, half-crazed girls who can attract a man (or wolf) to them just by being a ballsy, rude bitch?  I DO!  For serious, Shelly Laurenston had me laughing out loud with this book.  I read book 3 a while back and I'm standing firmly on the side of liking her writing.  It's hilarious and sexy and borderline feral and HILARIOUS!  I know I said that twice but this book tickled my funny bone in a big way.  OMG! The banter between the three girls had me nearly peeing my pants with laughter.  Ha!

The relationship between Sara, Miki and Angelina was fabulous.  They're all a little crazy and a little rude but watch the way they come out swinging to defend each other if the situation calls for it.  I loved how Miki and Angelina kept trying to get Sara to fall into bed with Zach.  I love how the three of them are brutally honest with one another and are able to point out each other's flaws without damaging their friendship.

Seriously, guys, I liked this book on so many levels.  Sara is tough and protective.  Zach's determined to stay away from her yet he never manages to pass up an opportunity to see her or talk to her.  Zach's buddy Conall is slightly obsessed with Miki - in the cutest way possible.  The whole book was full of awesome.  Now I want to go back and read the 3rd book again.  And, you know, pick up the 2nd.

  4. Great review. I also really enjoyed this book. Book 2 is also pretty funny. I've got book 3 sitting in my e-reader queue. Not sure when I'll get to it but, I'm pretty sure I'll like it as much as the previous two.
