Reading the Paranormal Week in Review
- Review: A Low Down Dirty Shane by Sierra Dean - I am very excited about this spin-off series!
- Top Off Tuesday - Tied with a bow, indeed!
- Review: Savagery by Emma MacKenzie - Enjoyable, but one character was disturbing.
- Review: Hammered by Kevin Hearne - This series has unequivocally become one of my favorites.
- Review: Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder - A wonderfully dark, almost claustrophobic, dystopian.
- Review: I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga - I don't think I have the words to tell you how much I'm looking forward to book 2.
- 2012 Year in Review - I read a lot of books.

- I've been having fun over at Reading the Paranormal's Facebook page. Links to freebies, random bookish chatter, and all manner of banter with the fabulous peeps stopping by! Go. Like it. I won't mind.
- Unbreaking the Shelves weekly update (the last one of the year!): I DID IT! I completed this challenge. I wanted to clear out my older review requests (10 books) and the signed books I had picked up over the past year (20 books). So... there you go. I HAVE CONQUERED YOU, CHALLENGE!
- Bout of Books 6.0 starts the 7th of January. Have you signed up yet? There's still time to get in on the fun of a week long read-a-thon! If the stars align, Amanda and I might try to put together some fun stuff on the Bout of Books FB page, so if you haven't liked us there, do it!
- I got a new Kindle for Christmas and I LOVE IT! The downside is that I have to reorganize all my collections and such but that's a (very) small price to pay. Seriously, my old Kindle was 3 1/2 years old and it was starting to do weird things like take a verrrrrrry long time to turn on when I toggled the power button. So, yay! Kindle!
- I got nothing for you this week, guys. Well, except a Cracked article of about animals and their amazing penises. I'll save that for next week.

I am impressed at your ability to complete challenges. I'm terrible at it. I'm GREAT at coming up with new challenges, though. That has to count for something, right?
ReplyDeleteTomorrow, remind me to link up all my freebies for December...I kinda fell off that train.
Hell, yeah, it counts!
Delete*makes mental note about freebies*
Congrats on all your awesome 2012 success!! :) Also whoo hoo on the Kindle! Which one did you get?
ReplyDeleteI got a paperwhite. Considering that I had a 2nd Generation one before, this is a HUGE upgrade. And it's sooooo purty! (plus, you know, it turns on and stuff.)
DeleteCongratulations reaching your UtS goal! That's awesome! And I still can't believe how many books you read this year ... that's crazy! Looking forward to seeing the response on the animal penis article ... I'm still traumatized!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I had to push myself with the last two books for UtS but it all worked out in the end.
DeleteAnimal penises!
