Synopsis (Goodreads):
A rogue ruined . . .

He is the Killer Duke, accused of murdering Mara Lowe on the eve of her wedding. With no memory of that fateful night, Temple has reigned over the darkest of London’s corners for twelve years, wealthy and powerful, but beyond redemption. Until one night, Mara resurfaces, offering the one thing he’s dreamed of . . . absolution.

A lady returned . . .

Mara planned never to return to the world from which she’d run, but when her brother falls deep into debt at Temple’s exclusive casino, she has no choice but to offer Temple a trade that ends in her returning to society and proving to the world what only she knows . . . that he is no killer.

A scandal revealed . . .

It’s a fine trade, until Temple realizes that the lady—and her past—are more than they seem. It will take every bit of his strength to resist the pull of this mysterious, maddening woman who seems willing to risk everything for honor . . . and to keep from putting himself on the line for love.
Thoughts on No Good Duke Goes Unpunished: Holy bananas. O.O I knew something momentous happened in this book before I started reading it and I COMPLETELY WANT THE NEXT BOOK NOW.

But we're not here to discuss the awesome setup for book 4. (although I kind of want to) No, we're here to see how THIS story played out. And, I can't lie, I think Temple might be my favorite. Let's see... big, muscle-y, kind of scary dude who happens to have tattoos. Geez. What would I ever see in him, right?

Oh, book. It's like you GET me.

I really liked the match-up between Temple and Mara. She's not afraid of him (and why should she be when she knows he didn't kill anyone twelve years ago?) and she's dogged in her determination to find a way to make her plan succeed. Bonus, she intrigues him. Her secrets whisper to him and the memories she holds of his past are like dangling a raw steak in front of a hungry werewolf. (Which makes a lot more sense when you know how much paranormal romance I've been reading lately!)

I have some choice things I want to say about her brother but I'm going to keep it to this: The guy's a spoiled brat. Mara puts up with him for far longer than he deserved. Someone should have given him a fist to the groin ages ago.

Anyway. Loved Temple. Enjoyed Mara as his match. WANT BOOK FOUR.
