Synopsis (Goodreads):
His heart may be the last thing she ever steals...

Marlowe is a pickpocket, a housebreaker-and a better actress than any professional on the stage. She runs with the Covent Garden Cubs, a gang of thieves living in the slums of London's Seven Dials. It's a fierce life, and Marlowe has a hard outer shell. But when she's alone, she allows herself to think of a time before-a dimly remembered life when she was called Elizabeth.

Maxwell, Lord Dane, is intrigued when his brother, a hired investigator, ropes him into his investigation of the fiercely beautiful hellion. He teaches her to navigate the social morass of the ton, but Marlowe will not escape so easily. Instead, Dane is drawn into her dangerous world, where the student becomes the teacher and love is the greatest risk of all.
Thoughts on Earls Just Want to Have Fun: Not going to lie, Dane was a bit of a wiener when we first met him. He's arrogant and stuffy and has no intention of helping a ragged waif even if his brother is convinced she's the missing girl he's been contracted to find. Of course, things don't go as Dane plans and he finds himself reluctantly saddled with Marlowe in all her foul-mouthed ways.

Let's face it, a stuffy gentleman who's routinely out cursed by a filthy young woman is pretty funny.

Marlowe has had a rough life. As the only female in the gang, she has to fight to remind everyone she has the chops to get things done. While she doesn't necessarily love thieving and constantly being on edge, it's the only life she remembers and the only one she thinks she deserves. Being told she might be the missing daughter of a wealthy, titled couple seems too good to be true.

So she fights it. And the fun begins.

Throw in some danger, friendship, and a healthy dose of sexy tension and things get interesting. Well, and dangerous, but mostly interesting.

  1. This is the one full-length book in this series I *haven't* read. And now I want to...
