Synopsis (Goodreads):
Cargo Master Owen Embersson is shocked when the Nebula Zephyr’s ship’s cat and her alien sidekick, Midorri, alert him to the presence of a stowaway. He has no idea of the dangerous complications to come – nor does he anticipate falling hard for the woman whose life he now holds in his hands. Life aboard the Nebula Zephyr has just become more interesting – and deadly.
Thoughts on Star Cruise: Stowaway: Man, there was a hefty amount of story packed into this little gem. I mean, we got to revisit characters we've met before and see the crew of the Zephyr come together to protect someone who needed protecting. We got introduced to a whole new race with a whole new skill set. We got a sweet romance between a protective man and a woman who has been beaten but unbroken by life.

I really do enjoy these books and the characters who populate them. Owen wasn't part of the Special Forces, but he's ex-military and he has the skills to get someone out a sticky situation is the need arises. And the need does arise. As you can imagine.

A solid installment in the overall series and a nice addition the Zephyr mini-arc.

  1. Sounds like an extensive series. May have to go back to book 1.
