Synopsis (Goodreads):
Cole:
I push her buttons. I want to push them in the good way. Dirty, up-against-the-wall, my-hand-in-her-pants kind of way.
But that’s not possible, because I’m dark and she’s light, and we both know it.
So I push her buttons in the bad way, making her hate me.

Hailey:
If a genie granted me three wishes, I’d ask for Cole Parker to never look at me again, that I’d forget the dark promise in his eyes, and that just once, before he vanished from my life completely, that he’d push me up against a wall and make me scream.
Then I’d go wash my mouth out with soap.

This story was originally published in a three-part serial. Those are included, as well as a bonus postscript section at the back with two additional scenes.
Thoughts on Hate F*@k: Not going to lie, I had no idea what I was getting into when I picked up this book. No idea of the glorious, steamy, filthy times Cole and Hailey were going to share. None. I don't regret a minute of it.

Guys. GUYS. Cole is rough and ready on the best of days. On the worst, he's a little like a wild animal. Well, up until his heart finally convinces his head that all those emotions boiling between him and Hailey were more than just temporary. Then he goes from plain wild animal to fiercely protective wild animal. Which doesn't sound like much of a change, BUT IT WAS. Oh, it was.

Meanwhile, Hailey's halfway to convincing herself Cole is just a tough, super hot man she needs to boink and get out of her system. Then he does something sweet and she goes all gooey and ...YEAH, he's not getting out of your system, lady. He's in there good and deep.

Cole's life is complicated and Hailey's family is a nightmare. He doesn't want to ruin her life by dragging her into what he's involved in and, yet, he can't keep away. As it turns out, Hailey's life is as complicated as Cole's, her family just has the blue-blood connections needed to keep it on the down-low.

Basically, these two are perfect together. Even when things get sticky.
