Mini Winter Bloggiesta 2015 goals!

 Bloggiesta
I'm going to be participating in the mini Winter Bloggiesta running January 17-19.

What's Bloggiesta? you ask. Excellent question. Allow me to let the fine folks behind this event explain...
In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta! - (from the Bloggiesta About page - and what a fine page it is!)
I have THINGS I need to get done. (and I'm starting early because I'm feeling motivated and you don't argue with motivation!)

(In case you're wondering, this is how an argument with motivation goes:
  • Me: I have things to do, but I'd rather rewatch season 1 of Supernatural.
  • Motivation: You can watch while you update.
  • Me: Yeah, but those Winchesters are kind of distracting.
  • Motivation: Those posts won't write themselves.
  • Me: Maybe they will. You know, if the Winchesters are somehow involved.
  • Motivation: You have two choices here - you can either laze around watching episodes of a show you've seen many times or I CAN DRIVE YOU CRAZY WITH TERRIBLE VISIONS OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON YOUR BLOG IF YOU DON'T GET UP RIGHT NOW AND GET SOME OF THIS DONE.
  • Me: *small voice* Well, when you put it that way.
There might have been some bitch-slapping and name calling somewhere in there, too. It was a very confusing time in my life. Needless to say, I started working on the blogs.)

  1. Yay, you're joining Bloggiesta! I am too, though if the amount of reading I accomplished this weekend is an indication of how much I'll be able to work next weekend, hahahahaha. I'll have fun with the community, anyway.

  6. I love your motivation argument. I think I have the same one with watching Gilmore Girls right now. I'm binge watching it for the first time and don't want to stop for anything. LOL

Good luck with your goals. Love your blog!

    1. Motivation is a tough task-mistress. I listen to her when she speaks.
