Synopsis (Goodreads):
For years, Jared has existed on the fringes of both Eden society and Dallas O'Kane's Sector Four gang. He travels between these worlds, protected by his money and power--money he earned selling his body, and power that comes from knowing secrets. He's untouchable—until he starts a new life gathering intelligence for the O'Kanes.

Lili Fleming walked out of Sector Five with a gun, the bloodstained clothes on her back, and an icy determination to survive. She finds herself in a world where people live hard and love harder, and nothing's more terrifying than how much the O'Kanes wake her up, make her feel—especially Jared.

Emotion is a risk he can't afford, and a complication she doesn't need. But neither can resist the lust simmering between them, and the sparks that could either melt the ice around both their hearts…or get them killed. Because the only thing more dangerous than loving an O'Kane is loving a spy.
Thoughts on Beyond Innocence: This series always knocks me sideways and lays me out. It's so good. SO GOOD. It can go a little dark, a lot dangerous, and it DELIVERS THE SEXY EVERY TIME.

Jared and Lili are no exception. He's a master at selling the fantasy women want, she's completely overwhelmed by her new life in Sector Four. Somehow, the two of them are utterly perfect together. I adored the trust Lili put in Jared to keep her safe when she turns to him. I loved how he only had to be himself for her. I just... *draws glittery hearts around the entire O'Kane crew*

It wouldn't be the Sectors is there wasn't danger lurking in the shadows. Except, the danger isn't so much in the Sectors this time as in Eden. Jared's intelligence gathering puts him in a very dangerous position. VERY dangerous. He walks a fine line and he knows it. Pulling Lili into his orbit at this point in his life isn't wise. But the things she makes him feel are unavoidable.

As always, I adore every single character we interact with in this world. From the enigmatic soldiers in Eden (I SOOOO want to know more a certain sorta terrifying dude) to the hard-loving O'Kanes, they are fascinating. Big love all around. ALL AROUND!
