I had an opportunity to write a similar relationship for the sequel to my upcoming fantasy novel A Vision in Crimson. My two characters had a tumultuous physical relationship before, told from their memories. Throwing them back in the ring together was a lot of fun, and some of the most natural dialogue I have, IMO.
