Synopsis (Goodreads):
The V V Inn has a ghost problem. When the lurking specters draw the attention of Constantine, head of Grim Reaper Services, he calls in the only local who can return the remote resort to its former tranquility, Lisa Carron—resident Alaskan reaper.

Still new to the death gig, Lisa accepts the job. After all, how much trouble could one ghost be? Once at the hotel, she learns that not only is the inn full of the dearly departed, she’ll also be working for vampires. Throw in Asa, a young vamp hot enough to melt the Arctic ice, and Lisa realizes she’s way out of her element.

Asa didn’t know what to expect when told a reaper would be working on the property, but Lisa certainly wasn’t it. Blond and curvy, she’s very easy on the eyes. Tasked with helping her, Asa soon realizes that not only can she provide the dead a peaceful passing, but offer him solace in a way no other woman can.
Thoughts on Death Times Two: Soooo.... I've pretty much devoured the entire V V Inn series in a week and I wasn't disappointed IN THE LEAST to close out my reading binge with Asa, Vivian's hunky security vamp and total sweetheart. I mean, sure he's had to kill a vamp or two in his time with Viv and her crew but that's what a security vamp has to do sometimes when he works for a powerful vampire master. RIGHT?

As a word of warning, I haven't read any of the Grim Reality series. Lisa's a new character to me, but from what I saw of her, I thought she was pretty fun.

I liked that we got to revisit some of the earlier events in the series as Lisa, reaper and hockey mom, meets and reaps the various individuals who have kicked it at Vivian's swanky vampire resort. Frankly, there's been a lot of death there, recently. Violent death. Which means these individuals aren't always ready to move on.

Throw in some good, old fashioned lust between Asa and Lisa, some pirate booty (heh. I said booty!), and Lisa's enterprising way of keeping those pesky ghosts from possessing her and I had a ton of fun. Far less bloody than the previous books in the series, but still chock-full of sexy good times! *thumbs up*
