Synopsis (Goodreads):
From the very funny and bestselling author Mimi Strong comes BLUE ROSES, a hilarious new story about a gruff motorbike repair shop owner trying to win the heart of a jaded florist. Tina has seen first-hand how Luca's relationships end with him sending apology flowers. She's worried she might be his next disaster.
Thoughts on Blue Roses: I like Mimi Strong's books as a whole and I enjoyed this one as a more light-hearted romance, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting going into it. That's mostly due to the fact that I picked it up as part of the Alphas After Dark bundle and Luca was more Alpha-light than Super-Alpha. While there's nothing wrong with that, it simply wasn't what I expected.

So. Tina and Luca. In a lot of ways, Tina's stuck in the past. She's hung up on the one perfect "love" she had (in high school, mind you) and she's never gotten over him. Plus, she has THE MOST neurotic friend ever. Someone who cringes and has to flee at the word "panties" kills me. The point I'm trying to make is Tina has issues.

Luca, on the other hand, doesn't put his best foot forward when he keeps showing up to buy flowers for the various ladies he's disappointed. Because of this, Tina sees him as a player and someone who's bound to break her heart if they get involved seriously. Yeah, there's miscommunication and a few misunderstandings and Tina's in firm denial-land for a lot of this book.

While not what I expected, this book was still enjoyable and light-hearted. And Luca was kinda a hunk. I appreciate that.
