Synopsis (Goodreads):
He might growl, but she’s not afraid to bite.

Hands full taking care of his clan, the last thing this Kodiak bear needs is a woman poking her cute little nose into his affairs. But when she refuses to back down—and shows the courage to stand up to him—he can’t resist the allure of a curvy city girl.

She’s mine. All mine.

And when a rival clan thinks to use her to force his paw, he’ll show them why you never piss off a Kodiak, or threaten what’s his.

Tammy is convinced men are all scum, even gorgeous ones like Reid Carver. She knows he’s hiding something. Something big. She just never expected a real freaking bear hid underneath all those muscles. But when the truth comes out and he tries to scare her off with a roar, she shows him not just bears have bite.
Thoughts on Kodiak's Claim: Heeeee! I do love Eve Langlais's crazy, messed up heroes and heroines. Reid and Tammy are no exception. She's a sassy city girl. He's the growly alpha of a town full of shifters. This book pretty much hits all my happy buttons with the sass and growl alone. Throw in some snarky secondary characters and one DERANGED bad guy (who might not be so bad after all) and I'm sitting pretty in my happy place.

So. City girl in a town full of shifters. LOVE. She knows something's not quite right about what's going on, but she can't pin down what's wrong. He's determined to keep her from finding out that he turns into a bear. Until he just lets it all hang out. So to speak. No, not so to speak. He really does let it all hang out, doesn't he?

I admire a man who's willing to show his dangly bits when it's chilly out.

I've read later books in this series and I absolutely love the crazy these shifters bring to their relationships. Growly, grumpy men and the women who put up with them are my weakness. Yassssss.
