Synopsis (Goodreads):
In exchange for a vial of dragon’s blood to save her brother’s life, Melanie Hall offers herself up as a sacrifice to one of the British dragon-shifter clans. Being a sacrifice means signing a contract to live with the dragon-shifters for six months to try to conceive a child. Her assigned dragonman, however, is anything but easy. He’s tall, broody, and alpha to the core. There’s only one problem—he hates humans.

Due to human dragon hunters killing his mother, Tristan MacLeod despises humans. Unfortunately, his clan is in desperate need of offspring to repopulate their numbers and it’s his turn to service a human female. Despite his plans to have sex with her and walk away, his inner dragon has other ideas. The curvy human female tempts his inner beast like no other.
Thoughts on Sacrificed to the Dragon: Dragon shifters, man. DRAGONS. What's not to like? Sure, the dragons are hunted and are slowly dying out because of skewed birth ratios and they require human "sacrifices" in order to procreate, but DRAGONS!

So. Tristan and Melanie. Tristan has a chip on his shoulder about humans. Melanie had volunteered as a sacrifice to save her brother. He's kind of a jerk, she's willing to do whatever needs to be done to uphold her side of the contract. Even if that means putting up with Tristan's jerky ways.

It takes a while, but Tristan comes around. Sllllowly, but he does it. Which is good, or this book would have been a whole other type of book. (I've had a lot of coffee today. I'm pretty sure I stopped making sense a couple sentences ago.)

Anywho. DRAGONS! Yay!
