Because an enemy from the past is rising again-one hellbent on vengeance and unthinkable destruction.My Thoughts: I have to admit that I wasn't sure how Lore's introduction to the brothers' world would go over - just because he was a big unknown and E, Shade and Wraith had this bond that was pretty cool and went beyond what most siblings feel for one another. But... BUT Lore worked. He's as screwed up as the brothers. He's fiercely loyal to Sin. He's been forced to kill for years and he hates it but he's resigned to it. In other words, Lore fits in with the brothers perfectly.
I liked Idess. I liked that she had a bit of a wild side and that she's been twisted up for years over what she allowed to happen to one of her brother's charges. I liked Idess with Lore. The whole sex demon at the mercy of an almost-angel was fun and sexy.
Do you guys want to know what I really liked? I liked that the hospital is not running smoothly. Things are falling apart. Things are tense. Things are chaotic. And then, just to throw a little more fuel on the fire, a badass plague rears its ugly head. Things aren't looking good at Underworld General. I just like watching the brothers struggle and fight even after their books. Things aren't perfect for them and I adore that.
A very fun, sexy installment in the series. I'm ready for Sin's story now.
