My Thoughts: You have to kind of know from the get-go that a road trip full of residents of Morganville is BOUND to not go smoothly. I mean, Claire and crew have this .... I don't know, it's like magnetic mojo that draws crazy stuff to them. You just know that things are going to turn bloody at some point. And not just because Michael's a vampire and like the O-neg.

Basically, things will end up going catastrophically wrong. It's a given.

But that's okay because the Glass House residents leave no back unprotected. Or something like that. They're armed with pointy sticks and redneck repellant and ... other stuff that I can't think of right now. They fight when they need to and Claire stands up and uses her big brain to protect the people she cares about.

Which is one of the things I love about this series - Claire is wicked smart and she's grown confident and comfortable with that as the series progresses. She might be scared but she's unwilling to sit idly by if there's something she can do to help.

Things are messy and bloody and there are times you don't know how the good guys are going to get out in one piece... and I wouldn't have it any other way.
