Synopsis (Goodreads):
A Beast In Torment

Uilleam MacRieve believed he’d laid to rest the ghosts of his boyhood. But when a brutal torture revives those ancient agonies and destroys his Lykae instinct, the proud Scot craves the oblivion of death. Until he finds her—a young human so full of spirit and courage that she pulls him back from the brink.

A Beauty In Chains

Seized for the auction block, Chloe Todd is forced to enter a terrifying new world of monsters and lore as a bound slave. When offered up to creatures of the dark, she fears she won’t last the night. Until she’s claimed by him—a tormented immortal with heartbreaking eyes, whose touch sets her blood on fire.

A Full Moon On The Rise

With enemies circling, MacRieve spirits Chloe away to the isolated Highland keep of his youth. But once he takes her to his bed, his sensual mate becomes something more than human, evoking his savage past and testing his sanity. On the cusp of the full moon, can he conquer his worst nightmare to save Chloe . . . from himself?
Thoughts on MacRieve: It's been quite a while since I wallowed in the IAD world. I'd almost forgotten how utterly whacked these characters are. THE SHENANIGANS THEY GET INTO! And my shenanigans, I mean the blood, guts, and gore.

MacRieve and Chloe...well, wait. Let's talk about MacRieve first. The guy has some baggage. Given what happened to him both as a child and when he was captured by the Order, I can see why he's bordering on crazed. He's a mess. A big, hot mess of a Lykae. Like Nix said, he was so messed up, he needed a massive jolt to the system to get him straightened out. (Which reminds me, Nix is as terrifying as she always is. THAT LADY!)

Chloe is that jolt. She's fierce and proud and she's hanging on by her fingernails in this new world she's been thrust into. MacRieve doesn't make it easy for her, either. Once things come to a head, he pushes at all the wrong times and makes things tough for a young immortal just coming into her power.

I'm loving on the background characters, loving on the crazy they're in the middle of, and still scared of Nix and her sight. I think I may have the next book burning a hole in my Kindle. DON'T WORRY! I'M ON IT!
