Synopsis (Goodreads):
When I wake up on the ice planet, I’m scared of everything: this place is cold, silent, and the locals look more like blue devils than aliens. To make matters worse, one of the strangers decides I’m going to be his girlfriend and kidnaps me away from my sister. I’m completely and utterly alone. What’s a girl to do?

Well, this girl escapes.

Of course, that means I go from frying pan into the fire, and my situation gets even more dangerous. Just when I have no hope left, a new hero appears. Sure, he’s blue, horned, and has a tail. He’s also fierce, protective, makes me purr...and thinks I'm perfect.

But is what we have real or just a mating instinct?
Thoughts on Barbarian's Touch: Man, I like these big, blue aliens and the ladies they resonate with. No joke, this series gives me all my favorite things rolled into a big ball of deliciousness. Gentle giants who will fight for their special lady friend if needed? CHECK. Snowy landscape where two people are forced into tight quarters and must cuddle up to conserve body heat? CHECK! Strong, adaptable women who rise to whatever challenge they're presented with? CHECK!

Basically, Lila and Rokan were another adorable couple who made me cheer. I adored Rokan's steadiness. Like, the guy was determined to wait until he resonated before heating up the furs with a lady. Given the lack of eligible females prior to the humans arriving, he'd pretty much resigned himself to never doing the deed. And he was okay with that. *draws sparkly hearts around Rokan*

And Lila. I liked that she made a conscious decision to step out of her comfort zone and be brave. *thumbs up*

Poor Maddie actually ended up getting shafted this book. She spent the book worried about her sister and then was forced to face the reality that Lila could very much take care of herself. Good thing she's getting her book next. For all her abrasive personality, I felt for her.

Then there's the whole yeti thing. I just... *flails* This series makes me SO HAPPY. So happy.
