Synopsis (Goodreads):
Now that she’s retrieved the Staff of Lore, Captain Alisa Marchenko can finally dedicate herself and her ship to finding her kidnapped daughter. Her scant clues lead her to Cleon Moon.

Unfortunately, since the fall of the empire, mafia clans have taken over the domed cities on the harsh moon, and exploring there isn’t easy. Even with the cyborg Leonidas at her side, Alisa struggles to survive vengeful mafia clans, rogue Starseers, and genetically engineered predators. To further complicate matters, she must worry about the ancient relic hidden on her ship, a beacon to anyone in the system who craves its power. If Alisa can’t navigate the moon’s chaos, she may lose her only chance to catch up with her daughter.
Thoughts on Cleon Moon: I'm back with Alisa and crew and, well, she's just as irreverent as she ever was. Plus... PLUS, now she gets to sling her inappropriate humor at Leonidas and he has to take it because they're *relationshipping*. Okay, fine, that's not a word, but if it was, I'm sure Alisa would apply it to their almost-relationship.

Just as a reminder, Alisa is still on the hunt for her daughter. Leonidas has his own quest and it just so happens to intersect with Alisa's. Danger's in the air. Beck's still being hunted by some bad guys. Mica's just as pessimistic as ever. Yumi likes her mind altering consumables. And people who can read minds are still kinds creepy even when they're amusing me with their own inappropriate comments.

Oh, and there are dinosaurs. Which, fortunately, are no match for a cyborg with badass armor.

Needless to say, THINGS HAPPEN. 'Splosions and butt-kicking and all that jazz. Alisa's closing in on her daughter's location (PROBABLY!) and familial connections are popping up in unexpected places.

Yessssssss.
