Synopsis (Goodreads):
The hot baseball player I’m forced to stay with for my best friend’s wedding is off limits.

Remy Winfield has more muscles than manners, and he’s on a mission to get me into bed by way of the filthiest mouth I’ve ever wanted to kiss. He doesn’t care about my long time crush or my certainty that we’re finally about to happen.

Remy's sure I’ll break first and kiss him, and he’ll tease me to the limit to make sure I do. I might be a Lady, but I can still play his dirty little game. It’s perfectly safe, totally harmless.

Until I fall for him.

Suddenly, Mr. Long-Time Crush doesn’t matter at all.

And my best friend can never know.
Thoughts on Wild Card: HOO-BOY. Remy and Jessa brought the HEAT even before things got steamy between them. No joke, these two sparked off each other even in the middle of Remy's filthy living room (which might have also been maybe slightly thanks to Remy's rambunctious dog and an unruly towel, but STILL!) when Jessa was not at all inclined to like Remy or his muscles or his (probably) deliciously biteable butt (amongst other parts).

But let's back up for a moment. Jessa's BFF (who happens to be Remy's cousin) is getting married. Jessa has a Plan (with a capital P, thankyouverymuch) to make things happen with the guy she's been crushing on forever and said Plan does NOT include being forced to room with Remy. Who is VERY distracting with the muscles and filthy mouth and smoldering looks. He's absolutely the last man she'd be interested in.

Except...whoops. She kind of is.

On Remy's end, he's...coasting, maybe. Yeah. That works. He's coasting through life after having his baseball dreams derailed and his heart battered a little by someone who wasn't willing to stick with him when things went south. He's not UNhappy, exactly, but he's not happy either. He just is. And Jessa with her proper speech and polite manners sparks interest in him. More than he expected. And he REALLY doesn't like the guy Jessa has her heart set on.

Plenty of dirty talk, panties that keep ending up in Remy's pocket, home improvement that is a whole lot of wicked, secrets, more secrets, outdoor trysts, indoor lovin', parental issues and obligations, a man who is stuck in neutral, and the lady (literally) who gives him the push he needs. Staci Hart brought us the heat with these two and BOY did I enjoy it!
