Synopsis (Goodreads):
Nothing has ever come easily for the last female warrior of the Nephilim. Now that Anna has found her place in the world, she has much to learn about her new role as Queen. As the mating bond becomes clear, emotions run high as one of the sexy warriors must step aside while the other takes Anna as his Queen and assumes the throne.

It is a wild ride, as Anna must return to Georgia to deal with a vampire that is waging war on residents of her hometown. Luckily, she has her best friend/paired sorceress Elise around to keep things interesting. Anna struggles to find the perfect solution that would allow her to remain loyal to her past as well as honor the responsibility of her present.
Thoughts on Destiny of the Female Warrior: I'm really torn on this book. I liked that the mating issue was ironed out and I *understand* why certain things happened as they did but Anna's reactions to a few things left me scratching my head.

Her decision to honor something her dead husband told her to do in a dream -- when she knows that Nephilim dreams are more than they seem -- confused me. Again, while I understand that she was feeling torn between two brothers and she's trying to find her way, keeping something like that a secret struck me as very, very wrong.

I'm just... torn on this book. There were times when Nyoka's actions struck me as very selfish. There were times when Eli's actions (while explained) were so over the top caveman that I didn't like him nearly as much as in book 1. Again, while I understand why certain events had to happen and why a catalyst was needed to get Anna to a certain point (that's very vague, isn't it?), I had a hard time believing that someone as hot-headed as she is would just accept it and forgive it all in the end.

That said, there were some hints dropped about secondary characters that intrigued me. I'm curious how things will play out on that front.
