Synopsis (Goodreads):
My name’s Markowski. I carry a badge. Also, a crucifix, some wooden stakes, a big vial of holy water, and a 9mm Beretta loaded with silver bullets.

A new supernatural gang is intent on invading Scranton – as if I didn’t have enough to contend with!

Supernatural gang warfare? Not on my watch!

Thoughts on Known Devil: I think I'm going to apply the phrase "a rollicking good time" to this series. It's just... fun. Dark and bloody, yeah. But fun.

I'm not going to lie, some of the things that Markowski initiates this time around worry me a bit. How far can you bend the rules before it begins to affect you? While I understand why he did some of the things he did (and how his dealings with the supernaturals sometimes lead to things that are better left covered up), once you cross a line, it can be easy to cross it a second time. <--intentionally vague so I don't give away the pertinent points. You're welcome.

Frankly, Scranton is kind of a hot bed of crazy things. Markowski and the Scranton PD have a lot they have to deal with. A LOT. Between power vacuums and dirty politics and those that believe humans are superior to supernaturals, they rarely have a slow night. In fact, I think Markowski wouldn't know what to do with himself if he didn't get called out to deal with as much crazy as he does.

Very fun, fast paced, and with a body count high enough to leave me grinning. I like this crew and the things they have to work through to keep the streets of Scranton safe.
