Synopsis (Goodreads):
He’s ready to admit she’s all grown up…

After two tours of duty, former Army Ranger Jack Hunter is back in the US, working to keep DreamMakers a brilliant success. Now that his best friend’s little sister is home from college, it’s time to retire his hands-off policy and take action. He wants Pepper Wilson in his bed, but seducing the feisty redhead could be dangerous for more than one reason.

She’s ready to push all his buttons…

Pepper is tired of being bossed around by everyone in her life, especially arrogant, annoying, overbearing Jack Hunter. While she can’t deny the man is out-of-this-world gorgeous, his alpha routine is getting old. His steely determination proves a match for her own, though, and the attraction simmering between them ignites into fiery passion.

But can their wild sexual exploration turn into more without someone getting burned?
Thoughts on Love is a Battlefield: UNF. Vivian Arend and Elle Kennedy write some seriously sexy couples. First we had Parker and Lynn steamin' up the sheets, now we get Jack and Pepper. *slow thumbs up*

Flat out, I liked Jack. He's a little arrogant when it comes to the ladies (and who wouldn't be with his track record?) and he doesn't always make the best relationship choices *cough*Charlene*cough*, but he's a very determined man when he finds what he wants. And he wants Pepper. Sure, he has a little mental roadblock to get past about her being his best friend's kid sister, but once that's out of the way, THINGS HAPPEN.

Good things. Sexy things.

Meanwhile, Pepper is a hoot. She's sassy and fiery and she's determined to show Jack and Parker she's all grown up now. In different ways, of course. For Parker, she wants him to see she can do the job he gives her without any babying. For Jack, she wants him to see she's ALL woman.

Good times, man. Good times.

Very fun (I still get a kick out of hunky military men planning and executing perfect dates with the precision of a battle) and full of enough steamy moments to leave you satisfied. Yep, it's another winner for the DreamMakers.
