Synopsis (Goodreads):
A MAN WITH NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE

I sold my soul a long time ago to pay my father’s debts. Now my life is a prison: no friends. No family. Nothing it would hurt to lose.

I never should’ve touched Abby. I tried not to, but she is beautiful, magnetic, sexy. Everything I want but can't let myself have.

UNTIL HE MET HER

She seduced me not knowing who I was or what I really do in the shadows. I should have resisted her, but I wanted to be the man Abby thought I was for as long as I could.

But all debts must be paid, sooner or later. And mine are paid with blood.

Now Abby knows who I am, what I am, and she’s run from me.

I would have let her go for her own good. But when I find out she’s carrying my baby — there’s nowhere she can hide…
Thoughts on Baby, Come Back: Jack and Abby. Gonna be honest, Jack wasn't the most endearing of men in his brother's book and it was hard imagining him being redeemable after what caused Abby to go on the run. But. BUT...I ended up liking him. Under his tattoos and inscrutable facade, he's got the heart of a softie.

A big, rough softie. Awww.

Fortunately for Jack, Abby saw more than just the facade he put out. She saw to the heart of the man underneath and decided to go for it even after being rebuffed by him more than once. Good thing, too, or he'd be stuck in that dead end job going nowhere fast. Abby gave him something to work toward. I mean, things got messy there for a while, but she was his shining light when everything around him went dark.

But he also had to work to regain her trust. Because what he did shattered all her illusions about him and laid bare exactly what he was capable of.

Let me tell you, it was well worth the ride.
