Synopsis (Goodreads):
Before they were the King and Queen…

Six years before the Beyond series started, an ambitious bootlegger named Dallas O’Kane caught a very pretty thief named Lex with her hand in his safe.

The rest is very sexy history.

In Beyond Forever, follow Dallas and Lex through the turning points in their relationship, from the night he caught her trying to rob him, through his rise to successful bootlegger, to legend, to Sector Leader--with Lex always there, willing to give him the push he needs.

Beyond Forever is a prequel novella that jumps through time to tell the story of the biggest moments in the formation of the O’Kanes and their King and Queen. It will be far more enjoyable if you’ve already read Beyond Control, and contains spoilers for the entire Beyond series.
Thoughts on Beyond Forever: MAN, I love going back to the beginning and seeing Dallas and Lex before they were Dallas and Lex. Heck, Dallas might have had the drive back then, but he wasn't the barbarian king we've come to know and love. Let's just say that Dallas found himself under Lex's hand. Which sounds dirty, but I meant her business savvy. She saw what needed to be done and she gave Dallas the keys to do it.

And it was messy and rough and there were hard words spoken on both sides, but they did it together.

We all know Lex wasn't one to sit back quietly and let things happen around her. She's right in the middle of everything from the first time Dallas catches her with her hand in his safe. Given that Dallas has a vision he's willing to sacrifice for to hold onto, the two of them butt heads more than once.

Did you expect anything less from the King and Queen of Sector Four, though?

This novella made me love those two even more than I did. Even when they didn't see eye to eye, they stood together to make Dallas' vision come true. Lex pushed when Dallas refused to move forward. She pulled when he dug in his heels. They just...fit. Loudly and sexily and with a lot of smoldering looks.

Man, I like these two!
