Synopsis (Goodreads):
My bride-to-be Arianna wants to meet my parents.

But...they live in a trailer. Dad thinks Playboy T-shirts are classy because the naked women are silhouettes. Mom has a tattoo of a dog humping a palm tree. I don't think either one has said a sentence without an f-bomb since 1985.

I changed my name a long time ago. Started a new life with a clean slate and never looked back.

I don't know how to mend that bridge.

Or why there's a pig-on-a-spit at their surprise engagement party.

Or how Arianna and I ended up wearing matching "Ball and Chain" bride and groom shirts.

But you don't get to choose your parents.

And in my family, crazy is definitely relative.
Thoughts on Single Dad Plus One: Dell and Arianna are heading to Dell's hometown and things are getting CRAZY. You know, if crazy is meeting the family and checking out the trailer park. Getting roped into an engagement party. Oh, and trying to hide the circumstances of Grace's birth from pretty much everyone.

Ha. THOSE TWO. Or three, I guess. They're a hoot. A little wacky and a little clueless and not really great at keeping a secret. But they're fun. Actually, let me backtrack. They'd be okay at keeping a secret if they weren't dealing with their families. Family, man. They never cease to ferret out the things one doesn't want known.

Anyway. Dell is still smitten with women, but this time it's Arianna and Grace who have his full attention. Arianna is somewhat hilariously thrown into situations completely outside anything she's dealt with before. And Grace is stealing hearts no matter whose lap she ends up on.

In the end, the truth will come out and Dell and Arianna have to deal with the fallout of that. And their families. Blending those two very different organisms must be nerve-racking.
