I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn’t put my finger on what it was.Thoughts on Switch Hitter: All right! A new series by Sara Ney! (I know you can't hear me, but I'm making high pitched noises right now, because yesssssss!)
Same hair color.
Except…I look harder.
At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn’t there the last time we went out. And her laugh—that laugh isn’t as loud.
This isn’t the girl I’ve gone out with the past few weeks.
It’s her twin sister, and they’ve switched places on me.
Only I’m not quite ready to let them switch back.
So I'm going to get something out of the way before I start fangirling. While I liked Dash and Amelia, I did not love Amelia's sister. Lucy was spoiled and manipulative and just no. The one thing I kept hoping was that she'd get a taste of her own medicine. I don't know how, but I wanted her to see how her actions can he harmful to others. (Which didn't happen in this novella, but I can hold out hope, right?)
Anyway. Dash and Amelia. Dash is focused and intelligent and pretty much a perfect gentleman. Amelia was smitten and unable to act on it. You know, since she was pretending to be her sister. Which, let's face it, complicates things.
But they work their way past that little bump in the road and move onto bigger and better and sexier things. Yessssss.
