Synopsis (Goodreads):
Kayne vows to never return to his home planet Gaia. Haunted by memories of an interstellar war, he joins The Force to stay on the move. Jumping around the galaxy for each new mission is the only way he keeps the past at bay.

Nothing slows him down, until he rescues a beautiful human from a life of slavery during an undercover mission.

Sarina knows only fear and darkness since being abducted by the Lezovians. Kayne is the first bright spot in her world since she was taken from Earth, and she instantly feels safe with him.

The attraction is mutual. Kayne is determined to follow her anywhere, until she’s sent to a safe haven for recovering abductees at the one place he swore he’d never return: Gaia.

Their attraction is undeniable, but will they both be able to conquer their pasts in order to have a future?

Kayne is the third book in the Force Series, featuring hunky intergalactic police officers and the Earth women they love. It's a stand-alone novel with no cliffhangers and a guaranteed happily ever after.
Thoughts on Kayne: Annnnnd another Force soldier finds himself smitten with a sweet, abducted human. That's not a dig against hunky blue aliens who find humans so alluring, either. I LIKE IT.

For all her sweetness, Sarina's been through a lot and Kayne has to move slowly with her. Oh, and also, the Force dudes have been forbidden from hooking up with the women they save. Which is very short sighted on the Admiral's part because human women certainly end up inspiring the aliens who fall for them.

The point I'm trying to make is that Kayne throttles back his attraction to give her time to heal. Which works in some ways, but his refusal to set foot on his home planet also means that once she leaves the space station, there's no guarantee they'll see one another again. Fortunately, things happen and Sarina and Kayne end up in each other's orbit again. I mean, it would be a totally different story if they didn't, right?

Honorable blue aliens, bloodthirsty enemies, and one sweet human who's not dealing with everything all that well until she has a reason to make an effort. Spoiler: Kayne's that reason. They liiiike one another.
