Synopsis (Goodreads):
For Family. For Honor.

Discarded by her husband who then sells her as a pleasure worker, Hope secretly enters into an Indentured Servant contract with a strip club owner to avoid being given to an unknown master. But she soon realizes that he has not only conned her into endless servitude, he also has nefarious plans involving her child. Desperate, she turns to a broker to find a new buyer for her contract. As soon as she meets the buyer, a Braxian giant named Krygor, with a fearsome face and the body of a god, Hope knows the Goddess has finally answered all of her prayers.

When Krygor comes to Lilith Hive for business and leisure, the last thing he expects is to fall hard for a delicate beauty and feel so paternal towards her teenaged daughter, both in desperate need of his protection. Hope awakens in him feelings he had banished after getting his heart torn to shreds by his first love. But a broken heart quickly becomes the least of his worries when enemies from his past use his females to capture him.

They shouldn’t have messed with the most insane of the Braxian Berserkers. They may think they have him at their mercy, but Krygor will bathe in their blood for daring to threaten what’s his.
Thoughts on Krygor's Hope: I have REALLY enjoyed watching these Braxians find their special someones and take the hard fall into being in love. The fact they've managed, as a people, to turn their planet's circumstances around and are now flourishing because an astute few took a stand against their old ways just thrills me to pieces. It could be argued that Krygor, being Anton's father, is one of the major catalysts for the changes the Braxians are now experiencing. Because he chose to stand up to the old ways and let his hybrid son live, and Anton was one of the driving forces behind the Braxians' current good fortune, Krygor helped usher in this new era.

Which, I guess I need to point out, is not universally loved by all Braxians. I guess some people just want to watch the world burn. Or take out their frustrations on the biggest, baddest Berserker in the bunch. But I'm getting ahead of myself., aren't I? Let's rewind a little...

Krygor and Hope. For all he's a Berserker and is best suited to a life of war and bloodshed, he's a gentle giant of a male. At least to those he feels protective over. Guess what? He feels protective of Hope and her daughter. Frankly, he's very taken with Hope pretty much at first sight (once he gets over a little shock, that is) and the lengths she's willing to go to protect her daughter makes him fall for her hard and fast.

As for Hope, she's in a desperate situation and doesn't see much of a way out until Krygor crosses her path. Things might not go necessarily as smoothly as she would have wished (being forced to do something against your will is NOT COOL, after all), but everything works out in the end and both she and her daughter end up in a very good place with a man who adores them.

As for the situation the group finds themselves in, I...don't know what to think about Krygor's deductions after the fact. Are they being set up for something sinister in the future or is everything going according to prophecy and plan? I don't know! And that's what makes this so dang fun.
