Synopsis (Goodreads):
The world ended and nothing was the same, and in this new order he’d changed his name to Raider—because he took what he wanted.

Women were scarce in post-apocalyptic California and if you found one you wanted, you had to immediately claim what was yours. So when a desperate beauty with striking green eyes and legs that went on for miles stepped into the dangerous all-male compound, he wasn’t above tying her up for her own safety in his isolated mountain cabin, until she realized the truth of their bond. And him getting his seed in her and swelling her up with his kid? Perfect.

She’d see he was doing this all for her.

Eventually.
Thoughts on Live For You: If there's ever a good time for reinventing yourself, the end of the world as we know it seems like a prime opportunity. Yeah, sure, maybe Raider didn't choose the best group to end up with (seriously, those guys were not a fun party group), but he had a reason for being there and, dang it, he was going to do what he could to help those who'd survived survive a little longer.

Which sounds complicated, but the guy was on a deep undercover mission and he had no one to answer to but himself and I think that can mess with a person's head.

When Kati crosses his path, he knows what his next steps are going to be. And they all involve holing up with her somewhere secluded and boinking like bunnies.

AS ONE DOES.

For all his good looks and protestations that he's doing it all for her, Kati's (understandably) wary of him at first. Mayyyybe keeping her chained up in an isolated cabin isn't the best way to win a girl over. Just a thought.

For the record, once Raider starts opening up, Kati starts trusting him a little more. THINGS HAPPEN (as they tend to do when two people are isolated in a cabin during the end times) and it's only once Raider realizes no man's an island and his idea to keep her safe all by himself has a flaw or two that things go sideways.

It's the end of the world, man. Sometimes you have to change up your plans and go with the flow.
