Synopsis (Goodreads):
But it worked for me. Because Evan and Sadie found a way to make it work despite all the roadblocks (or balcony walls) thrown in their way. The fact they each had their own things outside of the pandemic to deal with (Sadie's writer's block and Evan's scandal) made it more compelling. And their workarounds for not being able to physically touch one another were SMOKIN' HOT. Virtual sexy time! NICE!
You know, unraveling the whys and hows of Evan's predicament (as crappy as it was for him to be caught up in) also gave them something to focus on other than the craziness happening outside. It might not have been ideal for Evan, but it definitely kept them distracted.
Bottom line: I liked this book. A lot. Evan and Sadie might have very different personalities, but they play off each other nicely and they were there for one another when they both needed it most. I like!

Synopsis (Goodreads):
While the world is ravaged by a global pandemic, hotshot NFL running back Evan Sparks is locked in his own personal hell. With a career-ending scandal on his back, Evan hides out in his best friend’s empty San Francisco home, the full city shutdown locking him in a lonely twenty-story apartment in the sky.Thoughts on Love Under Quarantine: With the real-life events going on, parts of this book hit a little close to home (literally, in my case, since I live in the Bay Area and am familiar with San Francisco). Deserted streets and seeing a whole lot of the same four walls of your house... yeah. Close to home.
Romance writer Sadie Walsh is having the worst case of writer’s block ever…until the incredible, muscular stranger staying next door gets her muse going strong. The pair of loners, never expecting to find a friend in all the madness, meet each day out on their balconies like a modern-day Romeo and Juliet.
Each new day brings unique challenges for the pair as they navigate the unknown and find solace together. They quickly figure out that as long as they have one another, they can handle anything.
Even falling in love under quarantine.
