Synopsis (Goodreads):
My name is Ryan Kingston, and I’m a rule follower. I’ve never been in a fistfight. I always obey the speed limit. I don’t get drunk, and I definitely don’t pick up random women at bars.

Except the night I found out that my whole existence has been a lie.

I got drunk. And picked up a stranger.

Her name was Queenie, and she was everything I’m not: reckless, impulsive, and chaotic. We did shots and traded secrets. And ended up naked at my place.

She left me a thank-you note in the morning and her panties as a parting gift. But no way to contact her.

Six weeks later I’m sitting in the first official team meeting of the season, and there she is. I neglected to mention that I’m the goalie for Seattle’s NHL team.

And Queenie? Turns out she’s the general manager’s daughter.
Thoughts on A Secret for a Secret: OH MY GOODNESS. King was adorable. He'd almost be a stuffy old man-type, but sometimes he just let go and WHOA. Fortunately for everyone (because I don't think most people would be able to handle King's awkward, hot, adorableness), the person he let go with the most is Queenie. And she can 100% handle him.

Where King is careful and considered in his approach to, well, everything, Queenie seems like the exact opposite. She's messy. She doesn't see herself as having much talent or drive. She's a little wild and she's absolutely perfect for King. They're like concentrated chaos and control that somehow meet in the middle and mesh perfectly.

Which isn't to say everything's easy for them. Queenie has a few issues stemming from her mother's actions. She doesn't want to disappoint her dad in any way because he's been her rock throughout her life. As for King, he has a supportive, meddling family who don't always consider his wishes and who hid a darn big secret from him for most of his life.

Oh, and there's also that thing about Queenie being off-limits since she's the GM's daughter. Which isn't really as much of an issue as one might think except for the time there was the little incident with the strawberries. HA!

I like this series. A lot. Sexy hockey players (some ridiculously wholesome, some not) and the women who go toe to toe with them. GOOD STUFF!
