Synopsis (Goodreads):
There’s always the one that got away. Or kicked you out...

The new darling of rock n’ roll, Adam Dillon, is ready to show his ex-girlfriend, Jill Schwartz, what a mistake she made kicking him to the curb. So maybe he wasn’t the best of boyfriends. Writing great songs and climbing to the top of the charts isn’t easy. Only problem is, he's fast finding out that success isn't everything.
Thoughts on Love Song: MAN, it's good to spend time with the Stage Dive guys and their various wives, kiddos, and the people they've brought into their orbit. In general, they're fun and a little off-beat and I like it.

This time around we have Adam and Jill. Adam's the newest musical wonderkin the guys are mentoring/guiding/whatever. Jill's his previous honey who had to drop him before he got famous for her own peace of mind. Second chances, my friends. They can go either way. (In this case, Adam has grown enough to see the strain he caused Jill before and is self-aware enough to know he needs to change his act if he wants to convince her to stick around.)

Their romance was a little messy, but it was sweet. Jill has had to face hearing herself in all Adam's songs (not in a flattering light, mind you), and she needs...closure. Or something along those lines. Instead, she gets a more mature Adam who pushes alllllll her buttons. (in a good way!)

Like I said, it's always fun to spend time with the Stage Dive guys and this little beaut was no exception. *thumbs up*
