Synopsis (Goodreads):
A siren in heat, a gargoyle who keeps getting under her skin, and an inescapable work trip...

Gwen doesn't want anyone to know she's a siren. She doesn't want anyone to know she's terrible at her job either.

Perhaps least on her list of priorities, Gwen would also like to avoid the gargoyle who saw her vibe in the TSA check. Except, the very same gargoyle is the new manager she has to work with, and he's going to the same corporate retreat she is. He reminds her too much of her past and exactly the career-driven sort of guy she can't stand from Fortune 666 companies.

When things start to heat up between them, Gwen's afraid he's going to learn all her secrets, but when he offers to help feed her siren appetite, she can't resist mixing business with pleasure.
Thoughts on The Gargoyle from General Management: The lady in MR who has to deal with all the sticky office issues that pop up (romantic or otherwise) between the monsters at the office is up and she's kind of a mess. Not literally. But also, yes, literally. I mean, her first interaction with a certain hunky gargoyle is while heading to catch a red eye while she's in her pajamas with ratty hair. Her second? When a TSA agent is brandishing her private toys in a not-so-private way.

Yep, Gwen wasn't having the best day ever. And Vlad got to see her in all her awkward, messy glory. To make things even more awkward, Gwen's heat is hitting and she's desperate to keep her identity as a siren under wraps. Which means this business retreat is hitting at EXACTLY the wrong time.

As for Vlad, he's trying to find his footing at a new company and he's VERY into Gwen. He's not put off by what she is and is willing to lend a helping hand if the situation calls for it. He also sees something in Gwen that she doesn't see in herself, namely that she's good at what she does and shouldn't try to diminish herself.

More than a few awkward encounters, a drunken kiss that works for all parties involved (eventually), a business retreat that is ROUGH on an introvert, a gargoyle who likes what he sees, and a lady who has to work her head around being very into someone she (kind of) works with. GOOD STUFF!
