But danger is lurking close by, and if he can't face the demons of his past, he and Sophie could be the next victims in a pattern of meaningless violence.My Thoughts: I'm not a huge fan of contemporary romance and yet for some reason I keep coming back and reading them. Although the beginning of this book left me twitching a bit and looking around in confusion, I ultimately liked it. Most of the confusion stemmed from Thomas' state of mind when Sophie encounters him at her lake house. His confusion leads us in circles at first and it isn't until Sophie starts unraveling the mystery of why he showed up so unexpectedly that things begin to fall into place.
Ultimately it was a well written romance with enough of a mystery that kept me guessing as to what was happening.
