My Secretary, My Mistress by Eve Langlais
My Secretary, My Mistress
Format: ebook
Source: purchased
Date read: September 18, 2015

Synopsis (Goodreads):
A fiery one night stand between a boss and his secretary should have signaled the start of a relationship. Instead, he uses it as an excuse to avoid her.

But Isabelle won’t be ignored.

It’s time for this secretary to reverse the roles, and she’s got a plan to bring her boss to his knees.
However, Isabelle is after more than just revenge, she wants her boss to let go of his inhibitions and let Isabelle take charge.

From now on, she is going to be the one giving the orders.
Thoughts on My Secretary, My Mistress: I'm a big Eve Langlais fan, but this one didn't have her usual sassy edge to it. I did like how Isabelle pushed Grant into noticing her (because women who can rock curves like Isabelle shouldn't be ashamed to go pantyless in the office and accidentally drop things and have to bend down to pick them up. AMIRITE?!?!?), but I was a little taken aback by the bombshell of Isabelle's ultimate goal.

(And, yes, I'm aware this is one of her earlier books and I can appreciate how Eve Langlais's writing and characterization has grown since then.)

My Secretary, Her Fantasy by Eve Langlais
My Secretary, Her Fantasy
Format: ebook

Date read: September 18, 2015

Synopsis (Goodreads):
She’s claimed his heart. She's claimed his soul. Now she intends to fully claim his body.

Isabelle has a fantasy, a very naughty desire that her boss is balking at. She wants to claim him in a way he’s never imagined.

Grant would do anything for his secretary, or so he thinks until she tells him her secret fantasy. His desire to please is strong, but giving her what she wants means redefining his engrained notions on bedroom games—and giving up all sense of control.

Can Isabelle convince him to trust her and will Grant allow his mistress to claim her submissive?
Thoughts on My Secretary, Her Fantasy: Again, not one of my favorite books by Eve Langlais, but it did have some seriously steamy moments. Part of me was weirded out by how Isabelle demands Grant's trust without giving him much to base that trust on. But, hey, dudes giving into their darker (and, in their eyes, shameful) desires kinda worked. So, there you go.
