Synopsis (Goodreads):
I’ve never been romantic. Just ask my ex-wife.

Since she broke up with me, I get my needs met any time I want, without putting my heart on the line. Exactly how I like it.

But when she is called overseas and leaves me with our child, my bachelor lifestyle ends faster than you can say, “Daddy, I want a pony.”

I need help.

Problem is, help’s come in the form of an incredibly hot nanny.

My employee.

Who is much younger than me.

And also … a guy.

I watch Scott care for my kid and can’t help feeling like he clicks into place in her life.

When he looks at me, though … I get an entirely different feeling. One that makes me long for things I can’t have.

Like him.
Thoughts on Unmanageable: Okay. This time around we have Luke (Don't call me Daddy!) and Scott (sweet, perpetually lonely, wants a relationship like you wouldn't believe) and they are super sweet together. I mean, Luke's a workaholic who doesn't know how to have fun and Scott's teetering on the edge of falling apart completely, but they work. They work nicely.

So. Luke. The guy had a rough childhood and doesn't want to put his daughter through the type of things he had to grow up with. He steps away so she won't have to see any fighting between the adults (Luke and his ex) and it maybe wasn't the best choice. To be fair, Luke made that decision with the best intentions, but Addie needs her daddy and Luke needs to be in her life.

On Scott's end, he's a hopeless romantic who's starting to think he's not destined for love. He falls hard and fast and things always go sideways on him. Taking a nanny job for a hot hunk of a man who makes him feel ALL SORTS OF THINGS has Scott determined to not fall into the trap he's fallen into before. Meaning, he's NOT going to read anything into them as a couple.

HA. Right. Yeah, no. Luke has his eye on Scott and soon the two are tangling the sheets. Sure, they both had some things to work on before they could be together-together, but they also have a lot of incentive to get it done. Because, you know, they like each other and THINGS HAVE HAPPENED and Addie adores them both.

A manny who needs a little help figuring out his finances, an adorable little girl who loves unicorns, secret kisses (until they're not secret any more), reconnecting with old friends, and a grand gesture that makes a guy swoon.
