Synopsis (Goodreads):
Lost in the snow-locked mountains with her niece, a young woman finds hope in a handsome, enigmatic bear shifter.
My thoughts on Lost in Winter: This was a fairly quick read. A lost, desperate woman finds herself stranded in the woods with a hunky bear shifter and his son. Given the situation she's running from, Caitlin is forced to trust Winter with her and Sophia's safety even though she has very little reason to trust anyone.

Honestly, I can get behind someone trusting and falling for a mysterious stranger who offers her and her charge safety when she's on the run. Caitlin is strung tight and needs to know she's not making the wrong decision. Winter is able to provide her with that.

Again, it was a quick read, but entertaining. I felt kinda bad for Winter and Cole and their situation, but I did like how easy they both were in their fur. What can I say? I like shapeshifters!

    1. Me too! I like them growly and surly and bears seem to excel at that.

  2. It wasn't my favorite in the boxed set - in the bear shifter world, I liked "A Christmas to bear" by Carina Wilder a lot better :)

    1. The Carina Wilder story was a hoot! I think I grabbed book 1 in that series not long after I read A Christmas to Bear.
