Synopsis (Goodreads):
At the turn of the 20th century, tragedy has left Maribelle grief-stricken. After her beloved husband is murdered, his body disappears from his crypt. Worse, ghostly voices call from the widow’s Graphophone. Is she losing her mind, or does something wicked this way come?
Thoughts on Sing a Mournful Melody: A wonderfully creepy little story that plunges us into the grief and pain Maribelle feels at losing her husband. Utterly devastated by his death, she's thrown even more off kilter when his body goes missing from his crypt. The voices aren't helping her come to terms with any of it, either. Especially not when it offers her everything she wants.

*slow thumbs up to the dark, gothic feel and general air of genteel creepiness*
