Even if I hadn't liked Scarlett and her issues already after this short, I'd snap that one up. Fortunately, I do like Scarlett. She's kinda messed up (understandable, given she'd been murdered recently. Well, mostly murdered.) and she has a gift that can do a lot of good. If she can manage to keep her bloodlust under control, that is.
I'm keeping an eye out for book 1, just so you know.
