Synopsis (Goodreads):
Vapor is the most advanced cyborg the Humanoid Alliance has ever developed. He’s a finely honed weapon, a warrior without parallel, half man and half machine. No lock can contain him. No being can stop him. Whatever he wants, he takes.

He wants Mira Breazeal, the Designer’s daughter.

She’s his one temptation, his sexy target. Vapor shouldn’t crave her caresses, steal her kisses, make her scream with ecstasy. The cyborgs want her dead and they would question his loyalty if he didn’t kill her. The humans would shoot him on sight if he dared to touch her.

Their love is forbidden. Their desire could be lethal. One human and one cyborg will risk everything for a moment of passion.
Thoughts on Breathing Vapor: I'm pretty much hardcore loving on these cyborgs. Their existence is hard and brutal, they see no compassion from the humans who have enslaved them, and yet they manage to find a way to flourish and plan for a day when they'll be free. I'm seriously curious about how the other cyborgs in captivity will fare as these groups break out. I want to see this. I WANT IT!

But let's talk about Vapor and Mira, shall we? Vapor is...complicated. He sees a job that has to be done and he's determined to do it to advance the cause. But Mira isn't the cold-hearted woman she pretends to be and Vapor has all those pesky emotions bubbling up whenever she's around. As much as he prizes honesty, he has to come to terms with Mira's many lies and half-truths. Because she has reasons for why she does what she does. Reasons that make sense.

Steamy, dangerous, and just what I was looking for when I picked this one up. I'm loving these rough and ready cyborgs something fierce. They're willing to extract bloody revenge from those who have hurt them just as easily as they're eager to show their ladies how hard a cyborg can love. *slow thumbs up*
