Synopsis (Goodreads):
A smokin’ hot British player…
A jilted girl…
One night of mistaken identity…

Two weeks before her wedding, Remi Montague’s fiancĂ© drops her faster than a drunken sorority girl in stilettos. Armed with her best friend and a bottle of tequila, she hops a plane to London to drown her sorrows before fall semester begins at Whitman University.

She didn't plan on attending a masquerade party.

She sure didn’t plan on waking up next to the British bad boy who broke her heart three years ago—the devastatingly handsome and naked Dax Blay. Furthermore, she has no clue how they acquired matching tattoos.

Once back at Whitman together, they endeavor to pretend they never had their night of unbridled passion in London.

But that’s damn hard to do when you live in the same house…

One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime.

*A modern love story inspired by Romeo and Juliet*
Thoughts on Filthy English: Oh, hey. Dax and Remi certainly steamed up the sheets when they stopped second guessing themselves. I mean, they were seriously smokin'. Plus, there were sweetly cute together in an abrasive sort of way. Which is understandable given the baggage they had to overcome when it came to their previous fling.

For the most part I liked both Dax and Remi. I didn't like Hartford and I REALLY didn't like Remi's reaction to him. But I think a lot of that it because it rang a little too true to life for me. Remi was torn and she took the path of least resistance (at least at first) and it was tough to watch.

As for Dax, I liked that he sucked it up and admitted he'd been an immature jerk before. I liked that he had a protective streak a mile-wide for Remi. I just liked the guy. Even with his man-slutting ways. But then, I am a sucker for reformed bad boys finding the loves of their lives.

I haven't read book 1 yet, so basically my plan of attack is to do that. Pretty much immediately. Because sexy British dudes are hard to resist.
