Synopsis (Goodreads):
Three years ago, my perfect life ended. I got trapped inside a burning Army MRAP and watched my friends die. I was the only one to survive, if you can call this survival.

Now I’m the beast of nightmares. Horrific scars mean I don’t leave my house...ever.

But my best friend made sure I continued to live when all I wanted was to give up. I owe him everything, and now he needs me for two weeks.

Two weeks with strangers who I’ll never have to see again. I can do this. I can ignore the stares and revulsion.

But what I can’t ignore is the stunning beauty next door who sees past my scars.

She’s Hollywood royalty. I’m a recluse, a hermit. Her life is glamour and paparazzi. My life is NOT. No matter how much I want her, I’m no good for her.

Beauty and the beast was a romantic fairy tale, but this is real life and she deserves better...
Thoughts on Deliciously Bitter: The last of the terrible trio (my name for them, they're actually pretty awesome ladies. They're just a trio. And they needed a name. So...yeah.) are up to bat and the mystery of who's behind the issues Naked Brews has been plagued with are hashed out in the final book of the trilogy.

Alex, the lady whose past and connections have been hinted at but never outright explained. And Damian, the man plagued with some pretty serious PSTD. And survivor's guilt. And, well, he has a few things to work through. If it weren't for Walsh and Lake's wedding he'd still be holed up in his house pulling strings from the shadows. Heh. He's not that bad. He just has those issues and he's trying to put them aside to help Walsh celebrate his special day.

However, given that Damian has an aversion to being in the spotlight and Alex is pretty comfortable in it, he and Alex don't hit it off right away. Until they do. And MAGIC happens. Or chemistry. Or whatever you want to call it.

The point is, Damian takes a chance on living and Alex stands her ground to fight for what she wants. It's GLORIOUS! Oh, and there's some danger. Which everybody handles brilliantly.

Connections have been forged, a promise has been kept, and a dastardly plot uncovered. Good times!
