Synopsis (Goodreads):
Vampire, Brynn, knows exactly what he wants. He has his future all mapped out for himself.Thoughts on A Mate for Brynn: I didn't love this one, but it was enjoyable enough. Werewolf female who thinks she's a disappointment to her family because she's not an alpha ends up stumbling over a vampire who's one the brink of getting everything he thinks he wants. After an interesting first meeting, Brynn offers to train Tiffany so she can hook up with the alpha wolf she thinks she should mate with.
Hone and develop his skills as a warrior - Check!
Become one of the elite team members - Check!
Fight and win himself a place in The Program - Double check!
Now that's he's one of the ten elite males, one of the strongest of this coven, all he had to do is win over one of the human females taking part in The Program and it's just a hop, skip, and a jump to having the family he's always dreamed of.
On the eve of the start to this prestigious event, he decides to go for a jog and spots a potential threat to his people.
It's funny how everything can change in an instant.
Now he'll be forced to watch everything he's ever worked for unravel before his eyes and there's nothing he can do to stop it.
Things go from there and soon they're agreeing to a no-strings affair even though (a) they're both developing feelings for one another and (b) vamp/werewolf hookups are frowned upon.
Like I said, it was okay, but not my favorite of the anthology.
