Synopsis (Goodreads):
What do you do when you discover that your super-hot blind date from months ago is now your super-hot Russian Lit professor?

You overthink everything and pray for a swift end to your misery, of course!
Thoughts on Kissing Tolstoy: Holy wow! Anna and Luca slayed me dead. SLAYED ME DEAD. The two of them were just so...tangled. Seeing WHY Luca was hesitant to cross certain lines with her made me hurt for him a little.

(I'm going to pause here and mention that I've been devouring this book as Penny Reid was releasing it as a newsletter serial and I LOVED IT SO HARD. The added scenes helped flesh out Luca's reasons for running hot and cold with Anna and WHOA, MAN, you've definitely got some baggage.)

While Luca had his reasons for his actions, Anna is just...she doesn't see herself the way others see her. In her mind she's odd and boring and she needs someone just as odd and boring as her if she wants them to fit well. Luca is anything but boring. He's sexy, smart, and he wears leather like nobody's business.

But Anna's passion for literature--Russian literature in particular--strikes a chord with Luca. AND BEAUTIFUL THINGS HAPPEN. Eventually. These things take time, you know. Time for events to be put in motion and people to come to terms with feelings that muddle up the thinking of two otherwise highly intelligent individuals.

MAN, I liked this book.
