Before we get into the nitty gritty of Lachlan and Rowan, I'm going to go on record with a gleeful fist pump. Because Team 52 kinda rocked my socks off. ALL of them intrigued me. There's just so much potential for angsty drama when they'll inevitably have to battle themselves as they come to terms with their feeeeeelings. *heart eyes*
Okay. Lachlan and Rowan. Their reunion comes with a few speed bumps thanks to the trauma Rowan experiences at the research base. Plus, you know, Lachlan is sure he has nothing to give in a relationship, especially to someone like Rowan. You know what they say, right? The bigger they are, blah, blah, blah.
Yep. Lachlan falls hard. And it's GLORIOUS. Rowan's unfortunate luck at getting into trouble of the life-threatening kind the moment she's away from him doesn't help his nerves. Good thing he has all that training to keep him on the straight and narrow when his honey is in danger.
I'm excited for a new series by an author I adore and I can't wait to watch the rest of the team fall.
