Synopsis (Goodreads):
Bellamy Beaumont thought nothing could be worse than being broke and jobless. Then she found out her parents sold her to a mysterious company with its headquarters far from town. Inside the huge but plain concrete building she finds a growling new boss who doesn't seem to want a new assistant. But who also refuses to let her leave. And what is his obsession with her scent?

Adrian Garrett's life is fine. Perfectly fine. He runs his pack and his company with efficiency and has no time for a mate. No matter how loud and how angry his wolf becomes, Garrett believes that a mate is unnecessary. That is, until Bellamy is brought to his attention. One sniff and he's smitten.

The problem is that Bellamy is a human and Garrett's a wolf. Can one beauty save the beast?
Thoughts on Beauty in Summer: I liked this book, but I'm kinda put out that there wasn't more fallout from the fact that Bellamy's parents SOLD her to a wolf pack. Sure, everything turned out fine in the end, but that's a craptastic thing to do to ANYONE, much less your kid.

Also, Garrett's second in command (his name is escaping me at the moment) would be dead to me after arranging all that. Maybe I'm just vindictive, though. I dunno. That's one grudge I would be happy to hold. FOREVER.

Anyway. Bellamy and Garrett. She's utterly clueless. He's...not big on explanations. Admittedly, he did try to do the right thing by giving her the chance to leave, but STILL. This book is definitely of the hard and fast variety when it comes to their romance. Other than Garrett's wolf wanting to stomp in and mark his territory immediately and Bellamy's cluelessness, things went pretty smoothly.

Still, the whole parent's thing. That's not cool. AT ALL.
