Thoughts on The Bear's Chosen Mate: Polar bear shifters, man. Not only do they get a WICKED mating heat, but they're kinda cuddly and sexy and sweet all at the same time. Or maybe that's just James. (Spoiler: It's not just James. His brothers seem to have all those traits too. Yesssss.)

While the polars have that sexy, sweet thing going on, Kaylee has the jumpy as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs thing going for her. No, wait. It's not that bad. She's just a little wound up and a lot wary of ruining her awesome friendship with James. That makes her a wee bit skittish with her best polar friend, something which he picks up on.

But when the mating heat hits, all bets are off. To be fair, it does help that James wants Kaylee in that special someone sort of way. And Kaylee just needs a little push to see that she and James aren't nearly as badly suited as she thinks. In fact, they're kind of perfect for one another.

Sexy, sweet, growly, and all sorts of other shapeshifter-y things. I'm going to enjoy watching the other Borealis brothers fall and fall hard when they meet their special someone.
