Synopsis (Goodreads):
As for Pippa, she was very forgiving of their actions when all was said and done. I never really understood her motivations. I get that she was burned out from what happened to her mother, but her actions simply didn't strike true to me. For someone who had a gift for helping/healing others, staying quiet when her silence could condemn an entire planet seemed powerfully selfish.
And then there's the whole slavery thing. Unless I missed something (and honestly, I might have), the fact that the men did NOT condemn slavery (and, in fact, were considering returning Pippa to the slavers) and that the planet itself was complicit in allowing it to continue by not speaking up and by allowing slaves to be kept was a HUGE turn off. I want to say I understood their reasoning for not making waves, but allowing injustice because it's the easiest course of action is a hard line in the sand for me when it comes to the books I enjoy.
In other words, this one didn't really do it for me.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
After a string of bad luck and rather poor choices, curvy Pippa Steele lands on an alien planet, in an unknown galaxy, where winter seems to reign supreme. When three handsome aliens save her from freezing to death, she hopes it won’t be that hard to convince them to give her a ride back to Earth. But first, she has to make them understand that no, she’s not an escaped slave, and they should definitely not return her to the slave trader who’d tricked her into boarding his ship.Thoughts on Their Winter Miracle: I had a few issues with this book. Mainly, I didn't like the three men who formed the triad mostly because I felt like their characters were inconsistent. They went from wanting Pippa like mad physically to being angry about wanting her to being smug when she tried to wile them into letting her go to wanting to use her to further each of their own agendas from one scene to the next. Actually, I don't know what agenda Ash had, but the fact he tricked her into getting naked with him, used her like a slave, and then acted all put out when one of the others actually referred to her as a slave was kind of a turn off.
Kayvor, Trevkon, and Ashtar form a triad, but they’re too busy to concern themselves with taking a mate. The only one who suggests they keep Pippa as a wife is Ash, but he’s always been the reckless one. As a diplomat, Kay knows the best course of action is to take the Terran woman back to her master. Trev, on the other hand, insists that she’s the key to ending the eternal winter on their planet. Whatever they decide to do with her, one thing’s for sure: the curvy Terran is nothing but trouble.
