Synopsis (Goodreads):
Rukh and Harlow are starting over at the beach, away from everyone else. Newly mated, they’re just now realizing what a monumental task it is to create a home when you’ve got nothing but the leathers on your back. It’s even worse when you can’t talk to your mate.

Will misunderstandings ruin everything?

This story is an extended epilogue for readers who want a little more of their favorite couple. Don’t start here! Start at the beginning with their book, Ice Planet Barbarians #4, Barbarian Mine.
Thoughts on Ice Planet Honeymoon: Rukh and Harlow: Oh, man. I adore these big, blue aliens and their cuddly ways. Even when they can't communicate as well as they want to, they still manage to get their point across. Mostly.

Okay, okay. Rukh's inability to express what he's trying to do has Harlow doubting things (herself and him and them) for a while, but they work through that. And, really, it's not so much a lack of communication (although it is that, too), as Rukh not realizing that taking care of his mate is more than just bringing home a kill.

But then, living wild as he was, the finer points of keeping a home haven't sunk in yet. Fortunately for Harlow, Rukh's a quick learner. He might make a few mistakes, but he figures things out and he works to not make them again.

I'm really liking these little vignettes. We get to see the original couples coming together again and I pretty much love that. My heart eyes are forever strong for this series.
