Synopsis (Goodreads):
Being captured by aliens changes everything for Song.

One moment, she's about to complete school with her whole life ahead of her; the next, she is thrown into an out-of-this-world nightmare.

On a world where she is hunted, she leans on the one constant that has been there from the start…

Him.

Kyris.

Her guardian angel…

Or so she thinks.

What he wants from her is far from holy…
Thoughts on Kyris: Alright. It's Kyris and Song's turn to deal with planetary weather issues and other oddities while trying to make it back to their compatriots to finish the battle against the bad guys. While the other women who were abducted are of the strong, take-no-prisoners type, Song is...not.

She's completely overwhelmed and running on fumes after seeing what she saw on the alien ship. She doesn't have the survival skills the other women have. She's shell-shocked and on the edge of falling apart.

But she holds it together. Mostly. She's kinda tough on herself at times, but she manages and she figures things out. Kyris is a big part of why she's not dead, sure. He gave her a safe place to pull herself together when things got rough and he's pretty hunky for a winged alien. (Once she wraps her head around the idea of them being together, she really likes his hunkiness and wings.)

As for our winged beefcake, he does what he has to do to protect his human. She likes him and he likes her and THINGS HAPPEN. Eventually.

The crew is slowly being reunited (with a bonus T-Rex thrown into the mix) and things are looking up for all of them. Provided the bad guys don't show up unexpectedly to do their bad guy things.
